General GuidanceThere is currently a Draft Working Paper entitled 'Sexual Health & Wellbeing for Wales, 2009-2014'. This was open to consultation until 5th October 2009, but you can still view the document by clicking here (National Assembly for Wales) Sexual health strategy for Wales, launched in 2000 with the following aims: 1. Reducing the rates of Sexually Transmitted Infections 2. Reducing the rates of teenage conceptions 3. Ensuring people have access to good quality sexual health advice. (National Assembly for Wales) Revised action plan in response to consultation on 'A Strategic Framework for Promoting Sexual Health in Wales'. (National Assembly for Wales) Report giving progress under each objective in the action plan. (Welsh Assembly Government) Sets out the quality of services that children, young people and their families have a right to expect and receive in Wales. (Children First) Guidance sheets on sexual health for looked after children. (Department for Education and Skills, Every Child Matters) Guidance on teenage pregnancy, which is intended for England but may also be of interest to sexual health professionals working in Wales. Teenage Parents Next Steps: Guidance for Local Authorities and Primary Care Trusts(Department for Children, Schools and Families) Guidance on working to support teenage parents, including evidence on the consequences of teenage parenthood and underlying factors.
